Music & Events

MQ Global Group designs and produces music, cultural, and educational programs for institutions, venues, universities, and community partners — bringing together artistic direction, cross-cultural knowledge, and practical production experience.

We create programs that are fundable, thoughtful, and audience-ready.

Concert Production

From intimate chamber to large-scale production.

MQ Global Group develops concert programs with full artistic and logistical direction: program curation, artist coordination, venue communication, rehearsal planning, audience experience design, playbill production, and grant-facing documentation. Our work spans elegant staged concerts and cross-genre performances blending classical Chinese instruments with jazz, R&B, and world music — culturally grounded, narratively compelling, and ready for institutional and presenting-organization contexts.

Cultural Programs & Outreach

Sound of Silk and Bamboo

A public-facing education program introducing Chinese traditional instruments — drawn from the classical 八音 (Eight Sounds) framework — through live performance, demonstration, storytelling, and guided listening.

Previously presented at K-12 schools, colleges, and public libraries across the region, the program is designed for students, families, and community audiences, making cultural heritage accessible without flattening its depth. Each session is tailored to the host community — from interactive listening games for K-8 students to deeper contextual programs for university and adult audiences. It scales as a standalone workshop or embedded within a broader cultural series or festival.

Cultural Festivals & Campus Events

Performance, education, and genuine exchange.

Festival and campus programs that combine performance, cultural education, student engagement, and community participation. We support concept development, program design, artist coordination, and audience-facing materials for events that need both credibility and warmth. Past events have brought together traditional dress, calligraphy, live music, and ensemble performance — creating genuine cultural exchange rather than surface-level showcase. Programs run as one-time events or recurring series, and can be co-presented with academic departments or community organizations.
